During our readings, storytellers have interpreted "fear," "haunting," "terror," "foreign," "apocalypse," and more, in their own way, in the form of poetry, spoken word, and fiction. Inspired by everything from "Nope" and "Nanny," to Beyonce's "Alien Superstar," and the works of Octavia Butler, Simone Browne, and Edward Said, we’re thinking about who gets to be afraid, what precisely we are afraid of, and where that comes from. Watch this space for news and updates on future events.
